We need to cut spending. Spending is OUT OF CONTROL.

There's probably a good reason that raising taxes are the only way to go, but isn't it very low effort that improving a situation is only possible through throwing more money at things?
Why would we raise taxes when Trumps tax cuts actually ended up bringing in more revenue because of economy boost it brought. Why is it these people want to repeat history knowing that it doesn't work like they hope it will?
If you make a spreadsheet of real GDP growth, and when federal tax increases or decreases have happened, you will find there appears to be little effect.
You don't have to believe me on that. It's very easy to plop the data into a spreadsheet yourself.
