The difficulty is that we have reached a point where any advocacy for correctness is branded as "perfectionism".


You can't know if it's correct until the customer tells you it is.

If they don't use it, it doesn't matter if you did a good job.

Just get something in front of them. Then work to improve.


I'm tired of this mentality and all of the broken things it produces. Obviously it's important that it works for the people using it. That doesn't mean we should all shovel a bunch of crap together and sell it like it's some perfectly polished creation. Find a balance between the two extremes.


Tell us you've never built, sold, bought, or used enterprise software without telling us, etc.etc.
