I like this. One of the issues I'm hearing from the SWE hiring community is that a lot developer applicants are too generic. Here, the developer managed to combine a passion and niche (gaming) with a skill (javascript development) and has taken the time to build demonstrable projects, including an engaging website and YouTube channel. There's a lot here that can be emulated for other developers looking to differentiate themselves from the mass of generalists.
