Elon "free speech absolutist" Musk did what?

He joins the growing list of journalistic luminaries getting their Twitter pilots cancelled in short order; Tucker Carlson, Matt Taibi and Bari Weiss have met similar fates.

Tucker is a Luminary?

The idea of a Twitter pilot is flawed premise.

I still remember when this guy was on CNN during Jon Stewart daily show era. Regardless of how you feel about Musk Don Lemon has to be one of the dumbest people on television and nothing will be missed if every show he ever makes gets canceled. Even worse than a hard political bias is just being a moron

That is not the point... "Elon Musk says he wants free speech, but his track record suggests otherwise" (2022) - https://www.cnbc.com/2022/04/25/elon-musk-and-free-speech-tr...

According to the article he's still able to post his show on x, so it doesn't really seem like a free speech issue. I don't know the details of their deal, but I would guess x intended to pay for exclusivity.

Oh, I'm certain that Musk would have a problem with that too.

I just can't get mad about a moron having their show canceled sorry. Is the point that a billionaire celebrity is hypocritical? okay i'll grant you the point so what?

So Elon Musk pretty much stays confined to a filter bubble. Gets asked questions about a bunch of his unfactual views and spreading of conspiracy stories and is so upset at actually having to try to defend his viewpoints that he cancels his show.

How many times does he have to show that he has no value of free speech at all, and simply wants an echo chamber before people believe him?

And yet people still get fooled by him and still actually believe him.

>Musk says he canceled the show because it was too much like CNN. He didn’t comment on the interview questions.

>...

>"Like any enterprise, we reserve the right to make decisions about our business partnerships,” according to the post, which said that The Don Lemon Show is still “welcome to publish its content” on X.
