The post I replied to just says “rapists”. I added that the claims made by the NYT, that rapes were done systematically by Hamas, are outright fabrications. It’s been a hasbara talking point since that article came out and why that person said it.
You went off repeating lies about Hamas leaders being billionaires, atrocity propaganda about a dead woman, and then your feelings about how you don’t care about the genocide. So no, it doesn’t address my post.

Also: your account has been posting exclusively about this one topic for months now Single-purpose accounts aren't allowed on HN; neither are accounts using the site primarily for political battle. This is also in the site guidelines: https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html. We have to ban such accounts, regardless of what they're battling for or against, because they destroy HN for its intended purpose. If you don't want to be banned on HN, please stick to the intended use of the site. That means this: a certain amount of commenting about divisive topics is ok, as long as you stick within the site guidelines; but if it becomes the primary use of the account, that's not ok.
Sorry dang, but it’s a genocide. And this site continually allows people to post propaganda uncritically and deny or justify that the genocide is happening.
Pretty much all my posts are replies to those people. I’d rather not have to post about it so much, but it’s clear this site and its methods of moderation are not equipped to handle such an important topic.

I was trying to drive home the point that knowing you're right and convincing people you're right are two different things. I didn't mean to be disrespectful when I typed it.

This isn't worthy of a flame war, but we'll just note what you're telegraphing to us here: Namely your view that the basic situation with the current blockade of food and humanitarian supplies into Gaza is a matter of people being deprived of "nice things", as you say.
Either that, or that the people concerned about the blockade (and the bombings, and you know, those awful trenches full of bodies and stuff) are just whiny that they can't have "nice things" -- like a world without blatant genocides happening in the open for all to watch, with the support of major Western governments.
