Yeah was a bit confused at first what a news website's web app had to do with crypto. Then I realized they were talking about that crypto and stopped reading.
I can understand that it's not nice having Apple pull the rug from underneath you. However saying that Apple nerfing what PWAs can do on iOS is an attack on this or that is a bit rich. It has always been in Apple's best interest to have native apps on their devices, so it's entirely understandable that they'd drag their feet around PWAs. Them downgrading some functionalities around it can be a bummer, but also understandable from their perspective.
This is one of the few times that I wish Hacker News would allow the poster to edit the title... because crypto here means cryptocurrency, not cryptography.
