I think the BDFL’s do an automated review of project usage of the python batteries before they even deprecate a standard “battery”. And of course only when there is little to no community backlash with deprecation they move forward with removal.

Feel safe. But yeah watch for those deprecation warnings ( here are the upcoming ones thus far https://docs.python.org/dev/whatsnew/3.13.html#deprecated)
