Lists of links don't tend to make good HN submissions because HN itself is already a list of links, and because the only discussion the list provides a foundation for is the generic thing they all have in common—that is, the lowest common denominator of the things on the list. In this case, the common factor is "debuggers", and a generic thread about debuggers in general is probably going to remain shallow the way most generic discussions do.
What tends to work better is to pick the most interesting element of the list and submit that instead.
On the other hand finding curated lists like this opens up whole new worlds of investigation and get bookmarked for further discovery. This is one of the main reasons I enjoy HN. Thanks for sharing.
