My dns settings I setup for my custom domain that's points to my email served by Google Workspace were deleted when I changed when I switched host provider. I completely forgot about needing to update my email dns and they were finally removed today. Now email isn't working and I'm struggling to re-create the settings on my new dns provider.
Problem I'm running into right now is that I did this a long time ago, and I'm having a serious whack a mole problem trying to find straight forward docs from Google on how to migrate/recreate the dns settings.
I got the MX records setup on my new host, but I need to do things like TXT records, SPF, etc. The docs around this are all over the place.
The top hit for updating the TXT record is at https://apps.google.com/supportwidget/articlehome?hl=en&article_url=https%3A%2F%2Fsupport.google.com%2Fa%2Fanswer%2F183895%3Fhl%3Den&assistant_id=gsuitedomainverification-uavmi&product_context=183895&product_name=UnuFlow&trigger_context=a. However, the "Workspace Setup Tool" doesn't load.
Then searching for "Google Workspace setup tool not working" has a top hit point to a random Google help doc link, but that site is broken and loads no content.
Help pages like this point to things that either don't exist or aren't working: https://knowledge.workspace.google.com/kb/how-to-verify-you-domain-in-google-workspace-000006341.
If any Googler happens to read this, this is kind of a serious issue with your docs and you probably should raise a flag to have this straightened out. I'm experienced with this stuff and its even confusing the stuffing out of me right now.
EDIT:
Found the TXT settings in a completely undocumented place.

In the Workspace Admin panel: Apps -> Google Workspace -> Gmail. Choose the correct domain from the dropdown (if multiple). You can reset TXT records here and authenticate them.
