Show HN: Submit your startup in 150 directories in 5 min (quicklist.ing)

Back in November 2023, I faced a significant challenge with my AI startup. I was banking on Product Hunt to boost our visibility, but things didn't pan out as expected.

I quickly realized what was missing—a straightforward yet effective strategy to stand out: getting listed in directories.

That's when I developed QuickListing.

QuickListing simplifies the process of increasing online presence. It’s an automated tool that submits your startup to over 150 directories with just one entry.

It’s ideal for founders who need to maximize exposure, but have limited time and resources. QuickListing efficiently handles the directory submission process, ensuring your startup gains visibility and SEO benefits without the need for manual, repetitive tasks.

Wow, this reminds me of those ca. 1999 Windows apps that would submit your site to 100s of search engine indexes. Never did find out if they actually worked.

ah damn, I wasn't born ... haha

Nice idea. Do you have an idea of the before/after SEO effect?

yes it depends mostly on the directories you select and the ones that accept you but I've tried with one of my startup and I gained around 100 backlinks in a week. In term of Domain authority, I was starting from very low but I also saw some changes even it takes a few weeks to being updated.

This sounds great but unfortunately the site is down :(.

Edit: it works now!

Sorry I was just doing a small update! haha

Great product and congrats for shipping!

I would definitely want to see the list of directories before I decide to buy it. I anticipate this is probably part of your moat and you may not wish to share it just like that (although if you do, I personally think it would be good for your business, but w/e).

But ... that's not the real issue, though, the fundamental issue would be me regretting getting this because after the paywall it turns out that only 2-3 out of the 150 are worth it and the rest are kind of low-quality. Minimize that perceived risk and I'm sold 100% (and I guess others' too).

I want to emphasize this is not a negative comment, I really do think this is a great service to have at hand!

thank you so much for your valuable feedback! I just opened the list for everyone! you convinced me haha

this sounds really good!

are you manually filling out the forms for each website or did you build an automation flow for each one w/ something like Puppeteer?

Exactly it's an automation for each website you select that will submit your startup! So yes it was super boring to create :)
