A kobo for reading (kindle was getting too restrictive) and a custom built gaming computer (same, off the shelf computers and laptops are also getting too restrictive).



I've owned three Kindles, but bought a Kobo last year for a better integration with my public library, and I haven't touched the Kindle since. The only complaints I have about it are the poor dictionaries (a pain when reading in other languages), lack of translation abilities, and that you can't make the home screen dark mode. But I love the Pocket integration.


What'd you find restrictive about the Kindle out of interest? I quite like mine for reading, but admittedly I don't do anything very advanced with it
