I'm really curious about this now. How does he write something like half a dozen different papers per year as a sole author? These aren't short papers either; they're dozens of pages. Usually when I see a professor with an incredibly prolific publication history, it's because they have a bunch of PhD students (each working on a paper per year) and they collaborate with a bunch of other professors.
He also seems to be quite a character; unafraid to publicly document battles with his employer, IEEE, and the US government.
