How is it largesse when the government is doing it because it's in the public interest? Also as far away from a welfare queen as can be since much of the money is government contracts.
Makes as much sense as saying all government officials employees are welfare queens.

As always, the issue is hypocrisy . As far as I know, the parent poster doesn't frequently and publically complain about the existence of a government and the fact that it buys things from people.
