I've got the Byte cover with the computer watch, into which is being inserted a tiny floppy disk. I do NOT have an Apple watch, but that's what I think of when the Apple watch crosses my mind, is that Byte magazine cover.
We got there technically. Now, to rediscover the spirit of those days, when we imagined the future, shared, and found inspiration.
Those two were my favorite mags during the heydays of computing. To them I'd also add the first decafe of Wired. No other mag captured the computer revolution and the infinity of possibile worlds that might ensue better.
