I know this happens somewhat often here but now I am completely out of options so I will try this.
I have a side business unrelated to tech, and have ran some Google Ads for it in the past. The last one was in March, and the campaign was then paused and everything was paid.
I logged into my Ads account in November to start a new campaign and was met with a pink banner that my account is suspended for "suspicious payments." I followed the directions to start an appeal and I was asked to supply all payments in the past 60 days. Of course there were no payments since March. In fact, the account shows a credit balance right now.
Anyhow, I filed the appeal and since then (Nov. 20th) there has been a notice that Google Ads support should reply in "5 business days" with an addendum that "sometimes it takes longer."
After ten business days, I used "add more details" to reach out again. Now it has been 22 business days by my count. There has never been any response. There is no clue about the suspension. I have completed full advertiser verification and linked my bank account.
Anyone out there from Google who can help support take a look at my issue?
Today 01/05 the account was finally reactivated with no explanation. I only ever received templated emails from their support department demanding “proof of all payments made in the last two months”. I repeatedly emailed that there have been no payments in the last two months only to receive the same email in reply. Then in a bizarre event I received an email this morning that the account was reactivated.
