it's not possible now therefore it will not be possible in the future therefore we are safe forever. maybe time to write about Oprah better.


Drawing a straight line into the future and then making projections on that future as a projection of current trends is critically dumb and ignores every technology revolution we have had.

Humans are terrible predictors of the future, and technology changes aren’t linear projections that are easily predictable.


Talk of its risks of world-ending is a distraction from the much more likely scenario of it becoming a weapon of mass enshittification.
