Isn't geofencing easily defeated by a number of different apps which hook the request and return user defined coordinates?

In native mobile application's we can check if developer setting's is on then we can restrict the user from changing their coordinates.

But yeah, in this hook that support is missing :P

Pretty much everything client sided can be easily defeated. I don't think geofencing should be used for security purposes.
