Thank you. I'm curious, what did you do differently? Mine didn't work.

Just worked through "other captures" (there were only 4)

An archive of the paywall isn't very useful...

I'm sorry, it seems the web archive trick can't sidestep the paywall on this one. But I was able to read it in the original site. Probably they limit after a number x of articles read, instead of slamming one's face against the paywall on first visit.

[flagged]

I noticed that articles in favour of one side are flagged too, while this one [0] in favour of the other side mysteriously seems not to be.

I have a lot of respect for Paul Graham who founded this site (increased by [1]) and the moderators too but the user community confuses me sometimes because sometimes replies that are downvoted quite a bit eventually get a total positive score.

Most articles about this conflict are getting flagged, regardless of viewpoint, and almost none make it very far here.

Also, most of us don't know what the NYT article says at all because paywall lol

You might be right about that. I had that impression mentioned in my previous comment because, while browsing HN, I saw 1 pro-Israel article that was unflagged and multiple (probably about 3) pro-Palestine articles that were flagged. That was enough to create an impression but is not a great sample size for a generalisation though.

I recall this article we're all commenting on being flagged too, but now it's unflagged for whatever that is worth (likely a sign of diversity of viewpoints on HN).

It is unflagged, because at this point it doesn’t matter - thanks to scoring very few people will see it here.
