I’m doing the more basic one. Chromosomal, not this startup. All covered by insurance. It’s an interesting shift. I get to choose which embryo too which means choosing sex to some degree.

Amused that the promo picture shows “30x” embryos. That’s kind of absurd.


I thought this was already done? What’s the innovation here?


PGT-A only screens for large chromosomal defects, not genetic variants (which is the cause of most genetic disease).


If you have a specific genetic defect in mind though you can create a specific probe to test for it. I guess this startup is eliminating that need and can screen generally
