I feel suspicious of papers that look scientific but reference science fiction stories. The references/citations for this paper have over 20% sci-fi, and many of the rest refer to popular science books.


"Computer/human interfaces may become so intimate that users may reasonably be considered superhumanly intelligent."

As it stands, things are kind of going to the other direction.
