Better camera and slightly better battery life. If you need a better camera, then it's an option. If you don't, then an upgrade isn't really needed.

I upgraded from an 11 to a 15 pro max. It's better in every single way I can think of. Not everyone upgrades every year...

I swap between iPhones and Androids every couple of years. I hit my Apple cycle 8 months ago and have an Iphone 14, currently. The android prior was Pixel 6 with its tragedy of a fingerprint sensor.

Aside from the larger size, for my use, it's no better than the iPhone XS I used in my previous Apple cycle.

I prefer larger phones, because I'm older and have big fingers.
