This was researched by academics and published in an academic journal. What kind of scholarship does society gain from this? Did no one in the chain take and objective look and consider this unworthy of study, or is the publish-or-perish paradigm so misguided (and worthwhile avenues of study so crowded) that we end up with a paper on frozen shit?
