Cool, they just bought my mortgage a few months ago. Very awesome.


Same. It was AWESOME to get an email that basically said “hey, we had to shut down our stuff so you might not be able to pay your mortgage.”


Can we just take a minute to talk about what a crock of sh* this is that your loan can just be sold to some other company you don't want to deal with without your consent and desire, and that it changes every couple of years.


You likely gave consent in the mound of paperwork they had you sign when you applied and closed.


Fine - informed consent.

Can we now move on and discuss the actual issue instead of playing 'I am very clever' games?


They bought mine about 18 months ago. It's been a shitshow since the beginning. The last time I spoke to a customer service rep I told her "I pray every day that someone else buys my mortgage."

"Oh, I get it!" She said, laughing.
