I'm not really getting the 'social' message from it.
It's too complex when shrunk down, just a mess of lines at small sizes that lose their instant recognition value.
The colours are bland and make for a poor brand palette.
The eyes changing colours does not seem wise at all, it looks sinister.
The SVG is pixelated on the curved lines. There are things you can do to resolve this aliasing issue, it's common with SVG downscaling.
For the time you invested, it's better than what a designer could create, but mainly because a designer would invest time into some basic decision-making that would wipe out 30-60 minutes, and money to match, before starting some concepts.
For a social app side project, it's likely all you'll need though.
