I like the idea, but I don't like that this is one more system that should be configured with YAML! Why not something cleaner and more robust like TOML?

Something has gone terribly wrong if you need a build system for your build system.


As far as I understood, they are using Gradle as back-end only to test the idea. If it works as intended, Gradle would be replaced by a new build tool.


Here goes JetBrains trying to make Kotlin their Delphi, they better not stumble like Borland did.

As for chosing YAML, here is another build tool I won't care it exists.
