Important, but I am not terribly optimistic considering humanity in the aggregate. As I get older, I pour my time into loved ones, friends, and smaller opportunities for developing future talent, because life is short and we’re all dead eventually anyway. I won’t regret that time, but I’ll regret any time spent fighting people too simple or maliciously focused on keeping the world the way it is.
