Of course there are underground chambers there, and some very regular geometric ones to be sure.
It's a remnant extinct volcano stack, silted over, with substantial amounts of columnar jointing. Lava tubes and washed out geometric spaces are to be expected, it'd be weird if there weren't any.
I have no idea if they've actually found entrances to any, of course, I haven't watched the docos on this site - but other similar places have kooky spaces and impressive tunnels that look designed, so . . .

Could be. But the site is a megalithic terraced pyramid. That it would have inner chambers like Cholula or Giza is not unexpected. I don't know if they've tried to excavate any yet, it's what they see on the ground radar and other sensors.
