Having worked on UK state level positive influence and despite meeting
many talented, smart and super-creative people, I feel the messaging
is often criiiiiinge. Esecially with regards to subjects like security
and online, it's Just bloody awful, immature schoolboy level that
shows no understanding of human psychology, or modern society.
Secondly, the UK government didn't need this propaganda drive. The
Online Safety Bill was beaten through parliament by four successive
governments, and is a poster-child for shapeshifting machinations,
deceit and disinformation.
The very existence of this influence project says everything about how
low our government fell in its relationship to the people, and that
was evident throughout the pandemic. I don't think internal
information and influence operatons have ever recovered from that
lowpoint.
