I wonder if this is all too little too late. Oz politicians had many chances to speak up since Assange got stuck in the Ecuadorian embassy, but I don't remember too many of them doing so.
That's rather embarrassing for these MPs. Given the amount of actual material harm Assange contributed to by his actions, including many deaths, he should be in prison for a very long time. Hopefully until the end of his days.
