Whatever we like it or not, Chinese (Mandarin) scientific texts are found more and more through search engines.
While this is not a new phenomenon (one can find sometimes scientific articles written in German, French, Japanese or Italian), I guess not knowing Chinese may be a problem in the future.
I have read that Chinese people prefer the quality of Baidu translation for English => Mandarin. I wonder what Chinese people not speaking Mandarin (there a lot of them) use for translating English articles.
For those who can speak English and Chinese proficiently, what do you think of the quality of western translation engines like Google or Bing translate?
