This is AI hype. the images in question are AI-generated, but are obviously propagandistic in nature, eg the statue of Liberty holding a rifle. That's not disinformation, it's just an opinion you don't like, similar to an editorial cartoon but with better rendering.
Disinformation would be manipulated or generated images passed off as authentic photographs of actual events, in order to create a false public perception that something happened, or happened in a way that's different from the truth.
