And we're facing a similar choke point if we plunge ourselves into another ice age (see the CO2-temperature graph correlation) or desert Earth. In 1000 years, people will either be relatively okay or they will be few and wearing animal hides again.


And without readily available fossile fuels, a new industrial revolution will be impossible
