We're in the middle of a bit of a crisis in the UK, because it turns out a lot of our public buildings are built with a kind of bubbly concrete called reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete, or RAAC, that's prone to collapsing without warning:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reinforced_autoclaved_aerated_...The Department for Education released a list of affected schools earlier this week, so I used Ofsted data (https://reports.ofsted.gov.uk/) to find their locations and mapped it on on Google My Maps. I've since added other buildings like theatres, universities and hospitals which are also affected.
My Maps is a great tool for this kind of thing, and makes it really easy to import location data from a spreadsheet as well as search for places manually.
