I've always thought there should be a class in high school related to Law where you simulate being criminally charged and have to do a mock-engagement with "the system" including field trips to courthouses, and other places relevant to the legal system as well as learning how to think about the law, both analytically and practically.


Pretty smart idea, wonder why other driving schools don't offer this as an optional service.


I was thinking something similar, I'd be interested in trying it myself. I also know a few people who are convinced they're "good" drunk drivers, so I'd be curious to see how they do.


I think the danger here is that some people will find they are “not that bad” or even “good” at driving drunk and use it as a reason to do so more often, having the opposite of the intended effect.
