We just launched Souvenir, an iPad app that creates beautiful virtual photo albums.
It took roughly 6 months from the idea to the product. It's our first iOS app, and we hope that it will be worth it.
It features:

Souvenir turns the pictures on your iPad into virtual photo books, with covers you design. It's also Retina-ready, for the new iPad!
* Simple bookshelf
Your albums become books on a shelf. Use your fingers to take them down, to flip the pages, or to control Souvenir's handy radio.
* No extra work
Fill the pages of your photo books using the albums you've already created on your iPad. It's instant and automatic.
* Change the look and sound
Each album is up to you! Pick from a variety of themes, or add the perfect soundtrack.
