This includes infrastructure experts. 2) there’s too much to learn and everyone wants to be a generalist. I’ve spent my entire career levelling up and I still don’t know enough most days.

Weird. I'm the opposite: I REALLY love what I specialize in (idk why) and loathe almost everything else (idk why). I consider it a personal pathology that I just have to live with.
