He meant making in the medium hundreds of thousands : 1/N millions, where N is low. I have never heard anyone describe income this perversely



I thought maybe that’s what that meant but then dismissed it because I thought that’s just too odd to consider.


We're all making high quadruple digit (1/N) billions here.


I assumed this to mean "around 1". But really, why be coy in a scenario like this? Just say the damn number... it's not going to change anything.


There's no single number. Ranges from 1/4MM to 1/2MM depending on when/how you account stock grants, 401k matching, ESPP, etc.

If it doesn't change anything why make a big deal about it?


still doesn't discount the 1/N drop in pay to go into the military.


I don't really care about pay as I've said I saved a lot already. Just looking to do something Good (USCG, for instance).
