A 1.2 billion dollar pork project? IN TEXAS? That somewhat leads to big oil being able to advertise handwaving away emissions (it's ok, we'll suck them out!).

I am SHOCKED!


$1000/t with a goal of $100/t? According to the article, humans currently emit 38 Gt/year. So that's $38 trillion/year with a goal of $3.8 trillion/year to cover current emissions. Probably doable as a cooperative global effort, but yikes.



I’m not very educated on the topic, but this seems like the only way our economic system knows how to “solve” the problem
