A coincidence indeed. It has been a solid platform all these years. Now the question is do you also have it housed in a green Corsair Vengeance C70?
I presume since you're running an LSI HBA on the same board you also had to tape over the SMBus pins as well.
I had debated just running all of the HBA (IT mode as well though I didn't mention it before) connected drives direct on Proxmox with ZFS to side step the VT-d issue but I had some other use cases necessitating PCI-E passthrough that I didn't have a workaround for. The non-k 3770 was cheap enough that I was willing to go for it.
