Why would someone be doing this? What is the financial incentive/money source?

It feels like something out of an action movie.


Yeah, the reporter didn't do a very good job of reporting the entire story. I find this often with news these days - they report the "what", but so often, frustratingly not the why. Super annoying.

...Good journalism has always been like that. In fact, the problem is the opposite: the "why" being speculated outside the connected dots of facts.

But yeah, NBC didn't dig deep enough if thats what you mean. At least not yet.


It feels like something out of a William Gibson novel. Not the main plot, one of the throwaway side plots and weird characters, like The Finn.


Why would someone fund the Georgia guide-stones? Same motives, imho: misanthropy.


Huh? The Georgia guidestones were pretty harmless...


I guess that depends on whether you were motivated to manifest their stated purpose, or not ..
