If Meta also join Apple and signal in this boycott, I think that’s really it for the ruling.

They’ve been advertising their E2E on billboards, and to give in to this law would severely undermine whatever little trust they’ve built up.

We can ban those “E2E” solutions at the server level and avoid insecure clients being given access. So, walled garden basically.
