Those "no-CRT" views basically amount to "it's illegal to teach about how shitty white people were in the past, because somehow that makes today's white people look bad"
Yeah, they twist it and pretend it means all white people historically or now are responsible for atrocities. Plenty of white people sheltered escaped slaves, fought in the civil war and fought for civil rights. No one denies that. It's a propaganda deception technique, like how they twisted BLM to mean "only black lives matter". Same thing with anti-woke crap. Take a term/phrase, add their own twisted meaning and crusade against that, but really, it's just another dog whistle or a bedsheet/hood that covers the real intent/person to limit their exposure and maximize their support.
I think many people also need to remember that in this case white people means “white Americans”, not white people from anywhere else. We had nothing to do with any of it!
