Drink More Water: The dos and don’ts of hydrating in a heat wave (theatlantic.com)

The easiest pointer to how dehydrated you are is urine color. Urine should be pale, almost colorless. The stronger the color the more dehydrated you are.

DON"T WAIT TILL YOU ARE THIRSTY BEFORE YOU DRINK.

The early pointers of dehydration are the feeling of 'being hot' and 'being irritable'.

The standard water target in the U.S. during non-heat-wave times is 3.7 liters a day for men and 2.7 liters for women.

Those figures are too low. You can need as much as a litre of water/fluid every hour. Drink fluid, pass urine, watch that color. Too dark a color, drink more often.

Yes and No. I am not publishing a scientific paper here. It's called a 'comment' for a reason.

I can give advice, but then it's people's responsibility to do their own due diligence.

Also I am passing on knowledge that all people should know anyway. It's not up to me to convince people of the fors and againsts of any position.
