“Aya” is Arabic for evidence, proof or miracle. Each paragraph in the Quran is also referred to as Aya.

Though the name of the project here comes from South African Fern


Aya is also what you start yes-no questions with in Farsi. Cool to see something similar, like you're asking for evidence, "prove that you are going" means "are you going?".

It's fairly unused in spoken Farsi.


I heard that term, but as "Ayat". Which one is correct?


Ayat is the plural of Aya.
