Could be that the military is faking information about UFO's to catch people that leak classified information. Half of military leaks are intentional as a segment of the public trusts things information that they think are leaks more than anything else. Honeypot.
> "We can’t handle it," Burchett said during his podcast appearance about potential alien tech. "We couldn't fight them off if we wanted to. That's why I don't think they're a threat to us, or they would already have been."
But me the headline implies "the public can't handle seeing the video."
...This is not OP's fault though. That headline is what Fox printed.
True. It's click baity. But not the "easily remove a few words to remedy" click baity. It's debatable if it's better than: "You won't believe this Congressman's shocking reaction to new UFO leaks".
I find Fox's tepid click bait kind of drab tho. I'd much rather if you're gonna do click bait, just go crazy, a la the Sun's ludicrous style; fake but plausible Sun headline: Alien's 'drink blood, Party like it's year 3000' says Congressman in daze after shock UFO video leak
I'm not worried, if quantum computers are real and LLM's are real then surely it is possible to build an AI that can code everything in qbits and do 100 billion years of human level cognition each nanosecond.
They could draw a picture, engineer 2 seconds of audio, a virus, a smell or a hamburger that instantly turns the humans into willing slaves who speak their language. The firmware can also be upgraded to do just about anything. Grow a limb to do welding, build giant structures from implanted memory.
They could pick up the product or have it delivered and we would have no memory of the event.
The machines in the matrix are crude and simple. I'm more thinking of a level of insight that looks at the possibilities in the universe the same way we look at tic tac toe. If our abilities would be like the distance to the moon theirs would be like the distance to those far away galaxies Webb is looking at. Runaway intelligence growing like a forest fire.
