...wouldn't 'true iFixit fashion' include a teardown and replacement parts? Is there some part of the UL spec that says you can't sell a power supply that's easily opened?

To begin to answer you: We start calculating a repair score by identifying the critical components.
For a power supply, what are the critical components? What fails in an AC GaN transformer over time? I don't know (yet).
Right now, we aren't providing schematics / repair information, or parts for it. So that loses us two points right out the gate.
Open to input and critique on the rest of the design.
