Oh we'll just double the uses and 4x the size of the cache" ... which wasn't being used and no-one had any clue?

The problems here go far, far deeper than "did we need the cache" or "was there enough memory after all". How much other code is there in that shop that isn't functional but no one knows about it?


I'd lay heavy odds that this place, like most, have a a lot of "other code...that isn't functional but no one knows about it"

The write-ups can only come when discoveries are made - but the discovery has to be made first
