This is info siloing and info blackout. Is the US about to go to war?

What would even give you that idea?

There's a reasonable amount of disparate signals. For instance, internal escalation in Russia with Wagner group, movement of nuclear arms to Belarus, Ukraine repeatedly warning of attack on nuclear plant in Zaporizhzhia, Poland request for nuclear weapons, certain areas in the US are becoming mobile, uptick of successful in cyber attacks in US, readiness tests in US, comms and other media-focused messaging is becoming strategically simplified and exacting, and FYPs of Tiktok: Tiktok videos showing US soldiers being fed surf and turf, specific types of pro-military videos suddenly popping up, lots of repeat videos and nonsense videos for a few days, videos being flagged immediately for talking about certain topics. And now Twitter is further throttling access to its content, including requiring explicit login. At the same time Youtube is increasing its transparency of its forced engagement to positively identify and track viewers of videos. Google also appears to be de-indexing previously accessible web content. Reddit API rules are officially in effect, no more port forwarding in Mullvad, new privacy agreements in ProtonMail. The ability to trace individual users of the internet in near to actual realtime has increased dramatically, and the ability to turn the internet on and off is being tested at present (e.g., Reddit blackout).

It could be the latest blunder by Elon, no doubt. However there are indications of something else stirring.

Oh look, Biden is mobilizing "select reserve forces" in an effort to augment Operation Atlantic Resolve [1].
