This is extremy misleading. Statins actually directly block cholesterol synthesis UPSTREAM of coenzyme-q10 (ubiquinol) synthesis.

Statins ultimately deplete your mitochondria of the ubiquinol they need for energy production.

Mitochondria-rich muscles feel it first.
