Does that apply to car manufacturers and the GPS in your car?

And what about the GPS in your phone? We know that google logs your position

So spying on people using GPS trackers is legal in 25 states in the US? Anyone in those states could put a GPS tracker on the car of their employers CEO or a local politician or sheriff?

And anyone can spy on everyone in the US using license plate readers or face trackers? If so I would guess there is a lot of blackmail going on. Aren't there laws against stalking? Why are new laws needed for GPS trackers?

I wonder. If I setup a Raspberry Pi and a camera near my mailbox, and it tweeted "license plate ABC123 just passed me", for every license plate it saw, would that be free speech? If many people coordinated and built an open database of people's movements, would that be free speech?

Does this include the auto telemetry we have been seeing articles about recently?
